How do I disable past children of recurring event?

Could you check Cut Off Date of these events? Maybe it set to a future date and that's the reason the event is still being displayed there?

The Cut Off date was set to the last event children. I removed it and now the past children event is gone. Awesome!

What is Cut Off Date field by the way? My understanding of that is the cut off date for registration, isn't it? If it is, then why would it affect the past event child from showing up?

It is cut off date of the registration as you said. It is being shown because without being shown, how users can register for that event (when registration for the event still opens). That's the reason the child event still being shown there
