possible to get the EVENT_DATE without the start-time?

Hello every body,

i wish to get separated information for Event Date (without Time) to put this information into the certificate.
If there ist a shortcut like "EVENT_DATE"  that i dit´nt find, to get the date without the time - let me know it would help me a lot!
