Group registration - group members are not registrants was created by William
Is there a way to have all the "registrants" entered via group registration appear as individual registrants for the event? Right now when I complete a group registration, only the user completing the registration appears as a registrant. If a user registers other members of the site, it doesn't recognize that they're registered for the event. This means a user could register twice, once by being entered under a group registration, and once individually.

Hello
I don't really understand the question/issue. Are you saying that group members are not listed in Registrants Management after registering for event? Or you want to create new user account for them, too?

Please see the attached screenshots. In the first screenshot, it shows a group registration containing 5 registrants, but they do not appear individually in the registrants list - they are sub-members of whoever registers the group.
Second screenshot shows some of the 5 group members
So an example of how this is a problem is:
I have two users, test1 and test2. Test2 does not have a Joomla account on my site yet. User Test1 logs in and registers a group of 5 for an event, test1, test2, test3, test4, test5. Now if afterwards, user test2 creates a new Joomla account with same name and email address, event's booking doesn't show this user as registered for the event, even though they are registered as part of the group.
Also, even if test2 does have an account, test1 can register test2 using their name and email, but since test2 is not displayed on the "registrants" page, while test2 is logged in it still doesnt show them as registered for anything.

So I thought my problem would be solved if each member of a group registration was displayed as a registrant. Then if user test2 logs in to Joomla, it shows they are registered already for event.

As of right now, we can only display them as separate registration records in Registrants Management screen if you want
Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Include Group Members Records In Registrants Management config option to Yes
Then these group members will be displayed on Registrants management screen. I will review these other issues later

BTW, where do you want to show that the test 2 user is already registered for the event?

Turning on "Include group members records in registrants management" made all of the group members display individually as I was hoping, thank you for that.
I was hoping this would solve the problem I described where test2user was already registered for the event, but it appears this might be using the "username", and it doesn't seem like a good idea to ask for the usernames of everyone in the group. I'm not sure how to solve - If test1 registers a group of users and they all have Joomla accounts (USERNAMES = test1, test2, test3, test4, test5) afterwards if user test2/3/4/5 log in they are not registered.
I think the only way to solve this is either to ask for the "username" of each group member and only joomla usernames can be registered, or to be able to change Events Booking to use the email address field to compare against Joomla's user database

Still not very clear to me. Maybe you want that they won't see the Register buttons anymore?
