Translated dependent fields not appearing was created by Sanjuro
Hello,
I have an event registration form that includes a radio button field (primary) with two choices and several fields that are dependent on that primary field. It all works fine in English, when I select one or the other primary field, the appropriate dependent fields appear. However, when I switch to Spanish, two unexpected things happen. First, when the page loads the dependent fields for the first option in the primary field appear by default. Second, if I toggle back and forth between the two primary field options, all of the dependent fields disappear and stay disappeared.
I've looked in the developer tools and it looks like there's an Ajax call to the server that results in a JSON response with "show_fields" and "hide_fields" keys. When set to English, when I click on one option or the other, I can see that the appropriate fields appear in the "show_fields" and "hide_fields" keys. When I select Spanish, the only field that appears in the "show_fields" column is the primary field, all of the dependent fields are listed in "hide_fields". This is true no matter which primary option I choose.
The translated options for the primary field are the same as the English ones, so i don't think that is playing a role.
Any ideas as to what the problem might be? Is there some aspect of configuration that I've gotten wrong? Or could this potentially be a bug?
Thanks,
s
