Can the Wishlist avoid charging registrants until they come off the wishlist? was created by Chris Ursulak
I've looked through the documentation and searched the forum but don't see any direct answers to this. What I'm curious of is if I create an event, but due to weather we're not sure if it will run, so I want to turn it into building a waiting list only (I figured out how to do that).
But can it be set that those adding themselves to the waiting list are not charged until they come off the waiting list? or asked to fully register?

I don't understand. When waiting list is on, users should not be charged when they are joining waiting list.
Are you saying that users are being charged while joining waiting list of the event?

Other way to handle this requirement is that you setup a standard event, but only enable Offline Payment Methods for that event
Then users can register for that event, do not make payment at the registration time but only have to make payment later when they come and attend your event

So... the button says join waiting list. They do that (this is group registration btw), and it goes through the process, how many, names, etc. then at the bottom is the paypal cost $xxx and recaptcha. I didn't click though because my paypal is live on this event. I would have thought it wouldn't show that at all. I know the people will not click through either scared they will have to pay.
I will try the offline billing thing, that would be a work around for now. I'll test that tomorrow.
Thanks

That's strange. For waiting list, no payment needed. If the issue still happens, please submit a support ticket sending me :
- Super admin account
- Link to that event
I will check to see why that issue happens and get it sorted
Regards,
Tuan

I also just downloaded your other offline payment methods today and although your write up mentions two there are 5 posted there (cash, check, offline1, offline2 and offline3)
You also mention being able to do e-transfer - I like this option but don't see where to set that up.
Perhaps enhance the directions a bit - I've installed the plugins fine.
