The Recurring Settings Disappear When Editing an Event was created by LAC Webadmin
Hello Tuan,
Why is it when I'm editing an event, the recurring setting disappears from the edit form? Is there any reason for that? What about if I just want to change the settings for recurring type? Is it not allowed? I have to create a new event or copy the event? I think that would create unnecessary duplicate data in the database and unnecessary workflow for enduser.
Thanks,
Jackson

Apparently, the event I created has no repeat and I'm still looking for the Recurring Type field when editing an event.
Tuan, just a suggestion, why disable the Recurring Type settings when editing a no recurring event? Why does a user need to save a copy or create a new event to change or edit the recurring type of an event? As a new user (well I played around with this component around 2 years ago to replace JEvents in our website but I forgot how it works so let's say I am an new user) this causes confusion, I was confused with it
I know you're gonna say, it was like this since. What I am saying is you are actively updating this component (which lead me back to it), why not update the previous functionality? Really, disabling the Recurring Type (for non recurring event) doesn't make sense and you're forcing user to just save a copy.
Thanks,
Jackson

Hi Jackson
I will see if I can implement that change. Right now, you cannot edit a none recurring event to make it becomes recurring
Regards,
Tuan
