How does SMS work?

Does the phone number need to be in any specific format - can it have spaces?

Yes, it can have space. The system will remove the space characters from phone number while sending SMS

Did the registrant enter a full phone number? I don't have much experience with Clickatell but in my country, each phone number need to have a prefix +84 to be a full number. Maybe in your country, a similar prefix is needed? The plugin has a prefix parameter which allows you to specify the prefix

Which is the best sms plugin in your opinion? I am willing to get a refund on Clickatell and change if you can help me set it up

Honestly, I'm unsure. I don't use these services myself, so I don't know which one is best. So you will need to choose the SMS gateway yourself and then we will try to make it work
