Populating Eventbooking field from CB Profile was created by Lionel Charrier
Good afternoon Tuan

Altough I am using Evenbooking for years, I stil have difficulties to understand relationship with comunity builder.
  1. I have mapped eventbooking fields with the appropriate fields of Community Builder.
  2. I have published  Events Booking - CB  plugin and set "Update CB Data" to "No" as I don't want registrants that have made typing errors in registering an event modify their CB profile.
  3. Populating registration from previous registrations is not appropriate for fields that also exist in the CB profile on a member. Members do not understand why the modifications they have done on their profile is not recalled when registering to a new event.
These statements made, how can I populate the field of an event from the associated field of the CB Profile ?
The concerned eventbooking fields remains empty also they are mapped and Eventbooking CB plugin is published.

I can open a ticket if it is an issue with my site and it is supposed to work.
Documentation just say how to map field and stipukate to publish eventbooking CB plugin but does not say at all if data can go from Eventbooking to CB only or from both side.

What is the situation ?

Kind Regards
Lionel.

Hi Lionel

When you map the fields in Events Booking with the fields from CB, and users register for an event, the data from CB Profile should be used to populate data of registration form fields automatically (so that you don't have to ty again if you don't want)

If it is not working for you, might be something wrong. Please submit a support ticket so that we can check it further

Regards,

Tuan
