event with both zoom attendees and in person attendees was created by Wesley Derbyshire
I don't seem to be able to find any reference to how to configure an event so people can attend either in person or via zoom. I am surprised as I thought this would have come up some time as a result of the pandemic. Have I missed a discussion of this somewhere in the forums?
My first guess would be that either the event should have two "locations" - although I thought that was something that is not possible at this point (I did see that as a Feature Request).
Is it possible to set up the event with an 'in-person" location AND also provide a ZOOM link for people unable to attend in person?

Hello David
Assume you have a paid Zoom account, you can use this integration eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/plugins/zoom-integration

Tuan

I appreciate your suggestion, however, people who attend in person don't need the zoom link and the client's Zoom license limits them to 100 participants. Also - there needs to be a separate limit on the number of in person attendees. I am thinking this might be best to make this be TWO events and have the registrant register for one or the other. That way each "event" could have its own max registrants and only those who will attend by zoom will get the zoom link AND the administrator will know how many ZOOM participants to expect and how many ZOOM participants. However, I don't see any mechanism (other than asking them politely) to prevent a single individual from registering for both events.
Have I missed some better way to do this?

Hi David
You're right. Currently, we do not have a way to prevent one user registering for event A not allowed to event B
If this is really important, I guess some customization could be implemented (using override) to have it works like that. But it will cost you small fee (20$ or so) to implement that option

Tuan
