Quantity Field with List Box

I am adding a quantity field to limit the number of choices for a dropdown list. After putting the limit I was able to modify a registration and choose one of the selections that is already past the limit. Is it possible to update the quantity field after registration has started?

Not sure if I understand your question. However, for administrator, we do not perform checking for quantity field (super user can bypass the rule)

Maybe that's the reason you can choose the option although it is already pass the limit
