QR Code check-in not working correctly

We've been using the Event Booking plug-in for a few years now but due to Covid, we haven't held any events for a while.

We are now back and ready to start events again but, since upgrading the plug-in, the QR code check in no longer works.

We have the EB Android app and have also tried the iOS app but with the [TICKET_QRCODE] tag inserted, we get just get an alert. On the last ticket I scanned, for example, it read:

mm3bC9iG1hFvB6kX

With the choice of OK and Copy.

If we use the [QRCODE] it we have the following choices:

Open URL
Copy 
OK

It checks the person in but opens the URL and, with the amount of visitors we have, this is going to add a lot of time and hassle.

Can you suggest anything for me to look at as to why this has stopped working correctly?

Hi Andrew

You should use [TICKET_QRCODE] for checking in registrants using the mobile APP.

- If you use Android APP, and got the error, better contact developer of the app and ask him to check it
- If you use the fee IOS app eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/advance...sing-qrcode-plus-app , there might be something wrong with the app settings. You can submit a support ticket so that we can ask for some more questions and guide you further
