Custom Field - get value from Community Builder

I have a field in community builder that is a Yes/No value.

I need to be able to check this field in Event Booking.  If value in CB field is YES, then allow registration to proceed.  If value is NO, don't allow them.

Can that be built using custom field?  Or can it be built using an override?
