send mail to evewnt creator not working

Hi Guys,
in configuration/mail settings  I put yes to "send notification to event creator", and send notific mail is enabled and I choose myself as creater for the event but still mail does not come....

I guess it is because you are super users. When you are a super users, the system will bypass that setting because most of the events by default are created by super users

Try to setup a creator using a Registered user account for example, then try again. It should work as expected

but that does not make sense for the creators are super users and they dont want a second account. maybe I make them both, super user and registered user in same account. what do you think?

No. As a super users, there are different options if you want to receive notification

- Enter your email into Notification Emails config option
- Or enter your email into Notification Emails parameter inside the event (if you want to have different notification emails for each event)

That send email for event creator, mostly used for events submitted from frontend (in case you want to allow different users to create events from frontend of your site)
