Subscribe to all child events of an event with additional dates (made by plugin) was created by Digigreg
Hello Tuan,
I create some events with more dates with "Additional Dates" plugin. So I have one event, let's say, and some of its child events. (not made by daily, weekly or monthly options but only by "Additional Dates" plugin).
Then, when a subscriber complete the checkout for that main event, his subscription is valid and registered only for the main event. How is possible to register him to the main event and to all the child events in just one purchase? Also, there is no purchase button on child events (both, preview and detail views of the child event), but it's only on the main event.
Why do I need that: because I'm using the tickets with QR-Codes to check in people, so I would need a ticket for the main event and for each child events.
It's a bit complicated to explain, I hope you have understood well what I'm asking. I've checked already on your documentation but I haven't funnd any explanations regarding that.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Gregorio

Sorry I was blind. This component covers a very-wide variery of needs; it's just a bit complicated to find options sometimes, becaise they are a lot.
I tried the plugin and it subscribes automatically the user to all the child events of the main event, perfect.
Is there a way to mark as paid all the child events, after the payment of the main event? This would be very useful because users who buy a set of events (main + childs) pay only one time. But on the website I see only the main event marked as paid. Any solution for that?
PS: I tried with offline payment (bank transfer) because trying by PayPal sandbox results in no records of subscriptions in the component. But i guess the result is the same.
Thanks,
Gregorio

Hello
So you expect that when you change status of main registration record from Pending to Paid, all records will be changed to paid automatically?
If so, it is not supported at the moment
However, if you use online payment method such as PayPal, if someone register and pay for main event, their registration status of the auto-registered events will become paid automatically
(basically, the status of additional registration records will be the same with status of main registration record)

Hi Tuan.
Maybe you can consider to create an option in Auto Registration plugin to allow that. It would be great.
Besides, thanks for all the explanation you gave me.
Kind regards,
Gregorio
ok so with PayPal or Stripe in production-mode, when the user pays for the main event, all the child events will be considered as paid (and I guess all the emails and tickets will be sent). That's good. However, if you use online payment method such as PayPal, if someone register and pay for main event, their registration status of the auto-registered events will become paid automatically
Meanwhile yes, I think it would be interesting to have the same feature also for offline payments. So if someone wants to pay by cash or by bank transfer, the admin could easily set the main event as paid and all the child events would be marked as paid too.So you expect that when you change status of main registration record from Pending to Paid, all records will be changed to paid automatically?

I agree, it would be good if the child events of automatic registration events could be marked as paid when the parent event is marked as paid (using offline payment)
