Disable Edit Registration Details on Registration History

Hi,

Is there a way we can disable the editing of Registration details on Registration History, especially for those events that have been completed or ended?

We are doing some testing on Certificates and we noticed that on Registration History, you can edit details of your registration, including past events. 
By doing so, you can actually, modify the names on the Certificate and download, then repeat that for different names.
For Events that really needed Certificates as proof of attendance, they can easily manipulate event attendees' names. 

I believe disabling editing is important especially for past events.

There is no setting like that available. However, in each event, there is a setting called Registrant Edit Close Date. You can set it to a past date and users won't be allowed to save the registration (if current date is greater than that entered date)

That worked. That particular date is very important especially if Certificate is to be issued.
