Save and sync all upcoming events to local calendar (ical/ics)

Hi,
is there a way to save all upcoming events to a local/personal calendar (e.g. thunderbird, outlook ...) and keep them synced? If it isn't yet available, is it planned?
The ical-download for a single event works properly, but my client wants to have one for the entire calender too.
