[SOLVED] ACL settings on registration for event was created by OTWD
Is it possible to set custom ACL settings for users on registration via EB?
I have the usual Joomla ACL group "registered" and 2 custom ACL levels "july" and "august"
I have 2 events (July Course and August Course) on registration via EB the J! user is created.
I want users to be a member of "registered" and "july" for the July event and "registered" and "august" for the August event, in order to see content that is only relevant to those events (e.g forum groups, certain joomla articles, quizzes etc)
Currently I can only set them to "registered" but then have to manually assign them to "july" or "august" in the J! user management page.
I was thinking of using a hidden field that records the ACL group_id on registration then using a custom if else statement to assign the user_id to the relevant group in the jos_user_usergroup_map table.
Any ideas please or can you indicate which file i should be customising / editing to achieve this.
Thanks

Hello
Maybe the Joomla Groups plugin would help? See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/plugins...a-groups-integration
