Hi Tuan,
I have a custom field (with quantity) for some of my events. Some users that also have access rights for "Front-end Registrants Management" are also allowed to book these events. However, for them the quantity function does not work as they can always see this custom field. It leads to overbooking when one quantity is "sold out" It this the intended behavior?

Thanks.

Hi Frank

That's by design. We do not check quantity for users with registrants management

I would also say that quantity is not reliable (for example, if there only one slot left but two users book for it almost at the same time, they will be allowed to book and over booking will help)

Maybe you should try to use ticket types instead. It has better available quantity/capacity validation

But is it possible to restrict ticket types to one selection? A quantity field can be set to radio buttons. Then only one choice as possible.

It is still not reliable. What if there is only one option left? And two people register and choose that option at the same time (or almost at the same time)

We will still have over-booking for that option.
