How to Install WITHOUT Social Network System?

After purchaser, I discovered we are required to install a Social Network system. We bout a Event Booking, and cannot put a Social Networking system on a system we keep private. Facebook is for that -stuff-. 

Is there a way to use Event Booking without having to install a social network . Why do we have to install a Social Network system - that's what Facebook is for.

Our client will not allow us to run a Social network system.

No, you don't need to install any social network extension. You just need to have a Joomla website and Events Booking will work well. You do not need to install any thing else to have Events Booking to work
