Recurring Events: fields "cancel before" and "publish up" was created by IT-Manager Eintracht Triathlon
Hi!
When creating a recurring event, the repeating events have the fields "cancel before" and "publish up" not updated. They remain the same as the parent event.
Shouldn't those fields also be adjusted according to the repeating pattern?
Thanks.
Frank

Hi Frank
We do not support calculating Publish Down like that. However, for Cancel Before Date, it should be already cancelled base on pattern of the parent event

Hi Tuan,
Thanks. Will you have a look into the calculation of "Cancel Before Date"? It looks like a bug.
Thanks!

Hello Frank
For Cancel Before Date, it should work as expected. Exactly what's wrong? Please let me know so that I can see the issue myself and check it

Hi!
The cancel before date remains the same as in the parent event. The date is not adjusted for recurring events.

Hi Frank
I checked and could not confirm the issue with Cancel Before Date:
1. I create a recurring event with Cancel Before Date set to 3 days before Event Date
2. It is a daily recurring event
3. The parent event starts at 28 May, Cancel Before Date is 25 May
4. The next child event starts at 29 May, Cancel Before Date is 26 May
5. Next one is 30 May, Cancel Before Date is 27 May
So everything is working as expected to me

Hi Tuan! I can confirm that it is ok. I have been really sure that it did not work. But now I have tested with 3.15.2.
Anyhow - thanks for looking into it!!

Hi Frank
That is how it works from long time ago. So maybe something special in your setup only. I haven't touched that part for long time
