Choosing a language for a Category ?

I’m a complete Newbie wit Events Booking.  

• The website is bilingual

I’m building the Categories for the events. I remark that Category have a language input choice?
This is weird as I was thinking that translation in Events Booking was happening on a element basis (Category, Events, Location.....)

I explain my reasoning...
Why would I choose a specific language for a Category when this category will also contain it’s multilingual copy.
Same question apply to Events, Location, email and messages)

I’m not sure I understand how it work here ?

Choosing a language allows you to have that event displayed in that selected language only

However, I agree that we might remove the language selection in future releases due to the way Events Booking works with multilingual

The only way it can be useful, I guess, is if yo have different events in one language only, at least you can specified it.

How you system work?, when you create new event, did it take the default language automatically?
