Invoice for child events

We have two types of child events
1. where we use auto registration and no invoice needs to be raised for the second child events - this is working fine
2. where the child events are repeats of the parent event, so the delegates register on one event only and we need an invoice for every registration (whether they register on the parent or the child event).

Where 2 is the scenario the system does not appear to be raising an invoice for anyone registering on a child event.  Am I missing something, should this be possible?

We currently have it set so that child events show under the parent events, does this impact on the invoice being raised at all?

The question here is how you configure the system to allow registering for children event? Are you using Auto Registration plugin? If so, what is the status of the registration record for registration for children events? Is it Paid ? And do you see invoice number for those registrations?

Yes we have auto registration plugin enabled.
But not all child events use auto registration.

Where we are using auto registration it is working fine (not raising an invoice for the child events)
But it is where we are using child events as separate events (not auto registration from the parent event) we do need it to raise an invoice.

If this is not possible then I will stop using child event unless it is using auto registration

So you are saying that when registrants register for a child event (manually, not via auto registration), invoice is not generated? If so, that's something strange and I could say that the system should not work like that. Maybe there is something wrong with the settings on your site

Yes that is what I am saying. I will raise a ticket and would appreciate it if you could take a look.
