I cannot enter short or long descriptions I getting spinnig wheels, see screenshot please. HELP

Hi David

I would say that it causes by the editor you are using. Please go to System -> Global Configuration, look at Default Editor config option, try to switch to a different editor like TinyMCE, then check it again to see if it solves the issue
