Mass Mail: Only send to checked-in registrants was created by Mary-Liz Grise
I want to send an email to people who have registered for an event but who are not checked in. This is to remind them to cancel instead of being a no show, to give others on the waiting list a chance to register.
In the front end Mass Mail option, I choose Registration Status as Registered.
My question is about the field, "Only send to checked-in registrants".
If I say No, it should send to all registrants, both checked in and not checked in.
If I say Yes, it sends just to checked in registrants.
How do I send just to those not checked in?

We do not have that option at the moment, unfortunately. Maybe you can go to Events Booking -> Registrants, filter the registrants by Checked In status, check on the checkbox next to the registrants and then press Mass Mails button in the toolbar to send emails to these selected registrants
I will try to support for this kind of filter in next releases of the extension

Thanks you. It works in the backend and we can use it that way.
It would be helpful if it were in the front end as a filter as well because if the webmaster does not allow office administrators to have access to the Joomla backend, they would not be able to use the feature.

In the frontend, I believe you can use the same workaround. Are you saying that it could not be used?

You are right. This is the solution. I had excluded the mass mail option from that menu link. All is well.
