Wait listing Email went to All on the list, but used the wrong names.

Hi,
I was running 14.0 but I just updated. However, prior to this, I had someone cancel a registration. The system sent out an email to the 13 people on the waitlist. However, the system used the same first and last name for 13 different email addresses. These were all single registrations, since group registration has been turned off.

Any ideas?

What tag you are using for showing the name? Guess you are using [FIRST_NAME] [LAST_NAME] tags and it will be replaced with data of the registrant who the registration is cancelled

You should use [REGISTRANT_FIRST_NAME] and [REGISTRANT_LAST_NAME] tags and it will work well

Hi, firstly, thanks for your prompt response. I double checked and it looks like I am using the correct tags. See screenshot.

 

That said, I did update Joomla from 3.9.24 to 3.9.25 and it seemed to go well. But maybe that caused the glitched? I don't know how to test this to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Anymore thoughts?
