Mass Mail change Status?

is it possible to change the participant/registrant status through a mass email?

(registration status)

Background:
after the registration, the participant will receive an automatic registration confirmation. after that, we will send him an email confirming the participation in the event. and after that, we will send the participant the access data with a mass email.

No, it is not possible. Mass Mail can only be used to send emails to registrants. It could not be used to change status of registration
