Event Registration Open Date - Remove Time was created by David Unwin
We would like to remove the time from the message about when registration opens. This is so that we don't have people queing up on the system to book their tickets at the exact time when booking opens which they can see beforehand.
We see the message in the Language files with parameter $S. We assume the format of $S comes from the config options for event date format?
Is there a way to change the format of $S just to show the date without changing the Config option?

Hello
You are right that it uses the date format from Event Date Format config option. In your case, you want it to use Date Format, so code modification will be needed
You can get this modified file, unzip it, upload to components/com_eventbooking/themes/default/common folder, then check the result. If it works, move the file to PATH_TO_TEMPLATE/html/com_eventbooking/common folder so that the change won't be lost when you update to future releases of the extension
Regards,
Tuan

Hello David
To make it more clear, there is nothing to fix because it is not a bug. This is something I modified code to meet your own need only

To anyone reading this discussion, it does NOT relate to a bug in EB!
I just wanted a 'work around' for our particular needs, which Tuan has kindly provided.
