Custom Field displaying in Billing Information and Member Information

Hi there,

I have a football tournament selling multiple ticket types based on age groups, example under 10s, under 11s, etc.  I also have a custom field to capture the 'team name'.

The issue is that the custom field 'team name' is appearing in both the Billing Information and the Member Information during Individual Registration.  From a user experience perpsective, the uses then has to complete the 'team name' at least twice.

The simple logic is to amend the 'team name' custom field so that it is not displayed in the Member Information section by editing the custom field.

BUT there is a highly probable scenario where someone registering for the football tournamnet may enter two teams from the same club.  For example Hồ Chí Minh City football club want to enter two teams into the tournament so they will want Hồ Chí Minh City Sharks and then another entry called Hồ Chí Minh City Tigers.

Q. My question is simply how do I hide this custom field from the Billing Information section so that the custom field is only displayed in the Member section?

In short, it is controlled by Display In setting of the custom field. If you want it to be displayed on Members Information only, set Display In to Group Member Form

If you want the field to be displayed on Billing Information only, set Display In to Group Registration Billing Form
