Custom Fields: How to add a required Yes-No-question was created by Xife
Hello everyone,
this seems like such a simple question, but I am unable to solve this myself. I’m simply(?) looking for a was to add a required Yes-No-question to my registration process. The answer needs to be blank (no default answer pre-selected) and it has to be a required field.
I thought radio was the way to go, but this causes my registration to crash entirely:

I thought radio was the way to go, but this causes my registration to crash entirely:
- I fill in all fields but the required YN-question
- click the submit button
- this takes me one step back in the registration process, displays an error message and I have to re-confirm the general terms and conditions
(this is already odd, usually when I miss a required field the registration form will stay, display a notification and highlight the missed fields) - confirming the the terms takes me back to my registration (step 1)
BUT - half of my registration form and the submit button are now missing (I believe the missing part is called „members information“).

Radio custom field should be the field type you need. The issue you described is so strange to me. Maybe you can send me link to the page so that I can take a look at it to see what's wrong?

Dear Tuan,
I have two test events:
I have two test events:
-
www.microtec-suedwest.de/events/microtec/2021-02-16-test
This is a working event with a custom text field. My “workaround” because I could not get the radio to work – it’s less than elegant -
www.microtec-suedwest.de/events/microtec/2021-02-16-test-radio
This event registration uses my non-working radio button. There is no default answer pre-selected. If I select either answer this works just fine, but if I leave both radio options empty, the registration page crashes in the described way.

Hmm
For some reasons, I don't see the Process button to perform registration myself to see the issue you are talking about. Could you please check that (look like you made so many customization to the layout yourself)
