Reminder emails to child event registrants

Hi Tuan--

We have events with multiple child events (multi-week classes).  First and second reminders are properly being sent for each initial event/class, but not for the respective child events. The child events are all configured for reminders at 3 and 1 days prior.  In addition, each child event has the correct information in the respective Email Body fields.
However, I see now that registrants are only listed for the initial class--but not duplicated for the child classes.  That is not an issue as students may not enter after the first class; however, perhaps that is the reason for no reminders for child events?
Questions--is there another setting we are missing in order to effect the reminder emails for child events?  Should there be registrants in the roster for the child events in order to facilitate the child event reminders?  If so, where is that setting?

Children events, basically, is an event with it own registration. In your case, look like registrants only register for parent event, not children events? If so, reminder emails are not sent is expected behavior (they will only receive reminder emails if they register for the children events)

Hi Tuan--

So is there a better strategy for registering individuals for events (classes) with periodic (weekly) sessions? Is it possible to easily capture each of the parent class registrant lists and copy or import to the child classes after registration closes? If we could do that, would it then trigger the reminders for the child sessions?
