Bug with child events

I created a new event by Save as a copy an old event that had child events.
I setup the copied event and I deleted the child events from copied event.
Then I lost all the child events on the original event.
The users also went eventless. Any idia on how to correct this without a backup?

Ah, I think the same thing happened to me yesterday. I couldn't figure out where my child events had disappeared to, but this may be the cause. Luckily, I had no bookings taken.

The bug needs to be fixed, as our documentation says to make copies of existing events, and then add children.

If the event was deleted, I'm afraid of the only way to recover the original data is using the back up.

I will check this Save As Copy behavior. I haven't thought about this for recurring event before

I did not delete the original event. Only the child events from the new event. I hope this makes sense.

my Client reported the same issue. Is this a thing that could be fixed from you?

Can you let me know step by step what I need to do to see the error? Happy to take a look at it and if the issue valid, I will try to find a solution for this problem during the weekend
