Skip number member form for group registration

I am registering pairs for bridge tournament events, so I set the min no for group registrants = max no =2.
The behaviour of the registration seems slightly different for the first event of a recurring series than for other events. The registration for the first event skips the number members form and goes directly to the group registration. Which is exactly what I'm looking for.
Is there a way to generalize that behaviour and apply it to all events when min no of group registration - max?

I think it is because min and max number are not set for children events

You can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site. We will help making code modification to have that data copied from parent event to children events and it should solve the issue

Thanks for the answer. I changed manually the min/max of child events and it works fine.
I'll keep doing it manually for the moment, I have only a few events.
