message in registration forms

Hi

I need to add a message just above the email field in the individual & group registration forms for both Event Booking & Membership Pro.

What is the best way to add the messages?

Maybe go to Events Booking -> Custom Fields, create a new Message custom field type, put the message you want to display into Description of the field and it should work well

Thanks, I didn't see the Message field type.

On event registration it displays where I want it

but on membership registration, I can't place the message next to the email field

On the membership registration page how do I get the message to display just above the email field?

Hi Roy

Sorry, in your case, you are using email as username, so email in this case, acted as username, not like normal custom field anymore and you cannot put the message above the email field

If you want to put a custom message there, the only way is customizing the code. The file you need to look at and do the customization is components/com_osmembership/view/register/tmpl/default_form.php
