Advice to make a real life event an internet event was created by George
We had setup an event a few months ago with a real life location. After covid19 situation we decided to make the event (its a seminar) via zoom.
Does anyone have any advise on how to do this?
We already have dozens of people registered. Can we change the location to "zoom" or "internet location"?
If we setup the zoom plugin how are we going to make the people have a link for this?
Thank you.

Hi George
Once you have changed the location, and set up the zoom plugin (and tested it works) you can just 'unpublish' and then 'publish' each of the registrants.
By publishing the registrants the plugin will automatically register them for the Zoom event.
The plugin will then automatically add any new registrants to the zoom event as they pay (so are published).
Good luck

Hey Alison, thank you!
What should I use for location? This is the part that's troubling me the most.

Hi George
Location is optional, so if you don't need location, maybe just don't select any location for the event?
Or if you want, enter URL of that online location into Name parameter of the location and then select that location (which Name is a URL) for the event?
