manage events layout sorting options

Hi,
The manage events screen for front-end approved users is excellent.
My client though has lots of scheduled recurring events into the future which clutters this view as by default it lists the events that are the furthest into the future first.
Can we have options for this page from the backend so that we can define the default way events on 'manage events' should be sorted?

No, we do not support that option. How do you want to change that default sorting option?

We would like to be able to sort the events with the oldest events first - i.e. right now events for November 2020 are listed first

You can try this solution:

1. Create folder override under components/com_eventbooking/model folder on your site

2. Get this attached file, unzip it, upload the received file to components/com_eventbooking/model/override folder which you created above

Then check the result to see if it's working as expected
