Installed not working

I'm testing out Joomla.

I've installed Community Builder, then purchased and installed events booking. I installed the 'free' version of Community Builder to test this event extension out but it is not showing up in the Community Builder control panel.

Do I need to purchase the paid for version of community builder as well? I'm sure I will be satisfied, but CB is abit more expensive than this extension.

You do not need Community Builder at all to use Events Booking. So unless you need to use Community Builder, please just uninstall Community Builder extension (Events Booking does not require Community Builder to work)

Thank you. I was going off the Event installation instructions. A complete noobie to the frontend of joomla administration. I just found the: Components => Event menu at the top.

What was throwing me was this: "After the installation process completed, you will be redirected to dashboard screen to start configuring and settting up the extension."

I was never redirected, so started browsing around trying to figure out what I did wrong. (All I had to do after install was click the Components -> Event ) ::facepalm::

Do you see Components -> Events Booking in the administrator area of your site?

Access to that menu item, you will be in Events Booking screen and can start setting up it:

- Create Categories
- Created Events

That would be the first two steps you should do
