Weight option in Ticket Types

By default, Weight is set to 1 mean if you register for 1 ticket of that ticket type, it will be counted as 1 registrant

If for some reasons, you want it to be counted as 3 (For example, a family ticket is for 3 members), you can set it to 3 and if you purchase 2 tickets of that type, it will be counted as 6 registrants for the registration

Does weight retract from Ticket Types Capacity OR the event capacity set under Basic Information tap?

Question A eg. in a setting where Ticket Types weight is set to 0 ... would there be a capacity retracted from ticket type capacity but not from event capacity?

Question B: Is event capacity (from Basic information tab) overwritten by the total sum of Ticket types capacity?

I cant seem to find answers to this in documentation
