Possible bug? Events with the same alias was created by George Michelogiannakis
Hello everyone,
I'm not sure if this is a bug or user error. What we do is create two types of events and once a week or so for each type we edit the latest event, make changes to the date and time, and then click "save as copy".
This works nicely except that after a few months of doing this, we noticed that some resulting events had the same alias as older events. For instance, the copy would have the alias "sup-reservations-58" which is the same as an older event. This meant that we users click on "register (individual)" they get to a blank page.
Is there a solution to this? can we make the number that gets appended to the alias have more digits?
Thank you all.

Hi
The easiest way to prevent this issue is going to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at SEF router settings tab, set Insert Event ID config option to Yes
Then ID of event will be added to the URL to link to that event and it will prevent the error
Regards,
Tuan
