Custom fee field => Fee formula question

Dears,

I have a number of events which costs 5€/event for some events and 10€/event for other events. Participants can subscribe to 1 or multiple events. However the company I'm managing these subscriptions for had the request to charge people in a specific department a bit more per event then others (don't get me into the why please )

That's why I'm using the fee formula in the custom fee field to ask a user for the department he works for. If the department is department a or b, the user will keep the price as-is in the event. In case the department is department c the price should increase with 25%. For that I used the formula: [INDIVIDUAL_PRICE]*[FEE_VALUE]
Attached you can see a screenshot of all settings.

Unfortunately it did not work. What did I do wrong?

What are the fields and or calculations which can be used? Does anyone have a description of what's possible with the fee formula's except for the summiere info in the documentation?

The fee formula is wrong to me. It should be [INDIVIDUAL_PRICE]*[NAME_OF_FIELD_IN_UPPERCASE]

For example, if the custom field has name department, then the formula would be [INDIVIDUAL_PRICE]*[DEPARTMENT]

thanks for your response. I changed the formula to: [INDIVIDUAL_PRICE]*[DEPARTMENT_FIELD]

However this did not bring me the correct response. The individual price for an event is 7,5€, the price for department 3 should be 10€ per event. Please find attached the screenshot of my set-up

Whichever department I chose in the event, the price changed from 7,5€ to 8,5 €

The setup looks good to me. In case it is not working, maybe it's because there is something special here

You can submit a support ticket sending us:

- Super admin account of the site
- Link to the page which we can register for the event and see this calculation issue

We will check to see what's wrong and get it sorted
