Coupon Code discount by item total

I'm trying to set up a cart system and allow people to book events for multiple people using a coupon code that would give each person registering a fixed dollar discount (like use code RegisterNow2020 and receive $25 off each event registration). There are three events that people can register for and the code should just give a discount of $25 per registration so if they register for 3 events and have 2 people per event the discount should total $150. Right now the coupon code gives a discount per event but doesn't provide the discount for additional registrations so if someone registers for 3 events and has 2 people per event it only gives a $75 discount. The pricing varies a bit so I can't just do a % discount across the board because it would give a greater discount to some events than others. Is there a way to have the system do a (events x total tickets) x $25 = discount?

This would require some customization to the code (using override so that it won't be lost when you update to future releases of the extension)
