Custom Waiting List message

Hello,

is there a way to create a custom Waiting List message on a per-event basis.

I have an event that is going to allow 20 physical presence and the rest to be on-line via web conference/meeting.
- Those who will be watching on-line will be sent a link closer to the date and I'd like to create a waiting message which doesn't follow the "you are on the waiting list and you will be contacted if someone cancels" schema.

If the only way is to save the text/code from the system-wide waiting list message and then put it back afterwards, what do I do if I have more than one event published?

Unfortunately, we do not support custom waiting list messages per event at the moment, so it's not possible to have different message for each event

even if COVID "goes away" I think people are going to run more hybrid on-line events.

As I mentioned, my client - B-S-L.lu - have an event that is going to allow 20 physical presence and the rest to be on-line via web conference/meeting.
- So, there is not a "waiting list" in the traditional sense. The 21st registrant should be sent a (pre-)registration message to say that the link for the live stream will be sent later or the link could even be included in the E-Mail from Events Booking.

I don't think there is an issue that from the 21st registrant onward Events Booking doesn't consider them to have attended the event. If tickets are issued they will only be needed by physical attendees.

Perhaps this is a topic that could be moved to the Feature Wish List?
- What do others here think?
Perhaps a financial contribution would help?
