Cannot tailor cancellation emails per event - reverts to the EB default

Hi Tuan,

it looks like I cannot tailor the cancellation emails for an individual event.

We have an event that uses tailored emails that go to a different contact to the default. This works well for booking notification emails but when someone cancels their booking the system uses the settings under the global EB configuration.

I don't see how I can change that. Any ideas?

yes of course. Hope the below makes sense.

I have configured Event Booking "Emails & Messages" with default email templates which go to the people listed in "Configuration" "Notification Emails". This works nicely for the majority of our events where our Training Coordinators get notified of registrations for training courses.

We have recently started to use Event Booking for club members to book onto normal sailing sessions for COVID track and trace purposes.
I set up an event and in the event tab "Messages" I have set up tailored email templates, and in the tab "Advanced Settings" put a different email address so the COVID coordinator gets notified of registrations for sailing sessions.
This works nicely for the booking notification emails.
However there was a cancellation and the emails sent out were the default email template were sent to the Training Coordinators, not the COVID coordinator.

I don't see where I can configure cancellation emails for an individual event.

Hi Peter

So you are saying that when registrant cancel their registration, the emails you entered in Notification Emails parameter of the event does not receive notification?

That's not right to me. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us:

- Super admin account of your site
- A registrant account
- Link to the page which he can cancel his registration
- Tell me what email should receive notification

I will check to see what's wrong and get it sorted. From what I see from the code, the emails entered in the Advanced Settings tab of the event should receive notification in this case

I can also confirm that I'm having the same issue with individual event emails, none of them works, only the default email messages get sent after registration
