What is Publish Up/Down

Hi - please could you tell me what publish up and publish down means? I set an event as unpublished then put a publish up date and time in, assuming at this time the event would be published, but that did not happen. I don't think I understand the usage here.

Hello

1. Your event needs to have Published set to Yes to be displayed

2. When you setup Publish Up and Publish Down:

- The event will only be displayed when current date is greater than or equal Publish Up
- When current date is greater than Publish Down, the event won't be displayed anymore

But of course, it will only has effect if the event is published. if event is unpublished, it won't be displayed (not depend on Publish Up and Publish Down)
