Unfortunately, we do not have a way to allow event category to be displayed in Joomla search results

Is this something that can be added? It is important for us that the search results show the event category page instead of each event listing.

So basically, you want to make it possible for users to search for event categories via Joomla search? If it's really needed, we can develop a search plugin for this purpose. It will cost you 80$ for this development
