I have been getting a lot of notices from Google Search Consolesaying:
  • Date/time not in ISO 8601 format in field 'validFrom'
Invalid value type for field 'startDate'
Date/time not in ISO 8601 format in field 'startDate'
They referring to a lot of events one of them being Event with problematic date format

The events are listed under the EVENT section in Google so that seems to be fine.

Can you help please?

Hello

Look like you are using a third party plugin to add Google Structured Data to the page?

Maybe you can go to Extensions -> Plugins, find and disable the plugin Events Booking - Google Structured Data , then check it again to see if the error gone?

Hello Tuan

Yes, I do use Google Structured Data and the plugin they provide for the Eventbooking. I have disabled it now and Google has started the validation.

Would it be worth while for you to talk to the developer of Google Structured Data? His website is tassos.gr

Thank you

Hi

The main question here is what happens after you disabled that plugin? If the errors gone, that mean the plugin causing the error and you should report the bug to them. They should be able to check and get it sorted easily

If disable their plugin and the error still happens, that mean there is something wrong with Events Booking and we will have to correct it

Tuan

Thanks Tuan, I see your point.

I will keep you posted, it takes a couple of days until Google normally confirms that an error is fixed.

Regards

Petra

Look at the source code of the page, I'm unsure if that Google Structured Data is generated by Events Booking

Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can check it directly on your site?
