Multi price scheme for quantities was created by andysong
Hi,
Great product and exactly what I was looking for!
Question is, is there any way to handle multiple quantity discount?
for example,
I have an event that including several sessions (all of sessions have diffrent title, but same price) and I want to apply the price like this based on registrant's selection.
one session: 100
two session: 150
three session: 200
Can your event booking component handle this?
thanks in advance,
David Song

Also interested in this. Another type of discount based on the number of events being registered for.

Hi David
=> Unfortunately, right now, Event Booking cannot handle this . I have an idea how to solve this problem, need to try some coding first before I can confirm it can be done or not .
@marcodeluca
=> It is an usefull feature but I will not be vailable soon ! Right now, I have other features which have higher priority than this one !
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks Tuan. Do you have a roadmap anywhere, a blog or anywhere you talk about your planned developments? I do think that discounts based on the number of events is a very useful / practical feature, as I would say 9.5/10 people and businesses offer discounts based on quantity purchased in virtually every industry.
That being said, this relates to another post that you already answered about the relational properties of the events. It's likely a more serious update, but I would say that if it were possible to do the following, you'd really have an event booking system that would be hard to match anywhere ( inside and outside the Joomla community )
If you were interested in some help, I have partners who do this sort of thing. If you're interested in some funding, I'm not in any rush but I would love to support the project in some way.
Thanks for your time though, and quick responses:)

- relate events together ( parents - children )
- create some new views ( view parent events the same as you would a category, so it lists all children )
- create a function for checkbox or radiobox selections of all / some of the children events to register
- create discount rules based on quantity of related events ( not all events in cart, the # of related child events

Hi,
I believe you can do this with custom fields.
Just create a drop down so they choose the appropriate number of sessions - becomes combinatorially difficult if you have lots of sessions though
cheers,
Ariel

Has anyone been able to create a workaround for multi-event discounts. I, too, am eagerly awaiting this feature.
(ie apply discount after second or subsequent events)
