Stripe Payment Plugin and SEPA Debit Card

Hey Tuan,

i recently bought the stripe payment plugin and would like to use it with SEAP debit methode which is offered by stripe. Is there a way to activiate this payment methode or is the plugin only suitable for credit card?

Unfortunately, the payment plugin only support credit card payment. If you want to have SEPA Debit Card, maybe you should consider using EB Mollie payment plugin

From what I heard, Mollie supports SEPA Debit Card and it could be used in this case

Hey Tuan, many thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunatly Mollie does only accept support SEPA Debit Cards for reoccouring payments. For our use case we require a one time payment with a SEPA Debit Card.

Do you have any suggestions to trick the plugin in accepting SEPA with Stripe. Since Stripe does support it: stripe.com/docs/api/payment_methods/create

I haven't had time to look at Stripe documentation but I think it will require developing a payment plugin to work with that payment method.

I don't have time to look at it right now but will try to support it in the future as I have seen some customers asked for that method before

We don't have a separate payment plugin yet. However, I just noticed that the Stripe Checkout API allows choosing payment methods which you want to allow your customers to use to make payment. I can adjust Stripe Checkout payment plugin to support that

It is available on download package on server. Please access to My Downloads menu item, download the update payment plugin and upgrade to your site

When you can edit the payment method, choose the payment methods you want to use from a list of supported methods. Hope the one you want is there
