Event Registration Cut-Off

If we don't enter anything into the registration cut-off, when does an event stop accepting registrations?

At an event we offered in April, people were still registering at the last minute.

At an event this past week, people complained they were unable to register 30 minutes prior to an event because the event was no longer accepting registrations.

In both of these cases I had not defined a cutoff date/time.

If you do not setup cut off date, then registration should be possible until event started

The time check is base on your site timezone, so please go to System -> Global Configuration, look at Server tab, make sure Website Time Zone parameter set to your site timezone and it should work well

People were complaining a half hour before the event, which is in the same time zone as the server, that they were no longer able to register for it.

Sorry but I don't have any other clue about this error. In this case, please try to re-procedure the issue yourself. If you have a way for me to see the issue myself, I'm happy to check and find out the reason
