Cancellation Fee? was created by Ed
Hello,
New convert here learning the ins and outs of the EB system. We are migrating from another platform and so far, EB looks like a great product and it appears that it will be a good fit for my client's site.
However, in setting up a test event, I cannot find a setting for a cancellation fee if a registrant should cancel their registration after a defined date. There are late fees and early-bird discounts, but I have not located a cancellation fee area. Am I missing something or does this function not exist?
Thanks!

Hi McDermott
I'm sorry but Events Booking does not support this option. We have no way to charge fee if registrants cancel their registration late

Thank you for your response Tuan.
Isn't this normally done through the payment processor when a refund is applied?
Is it possible to create a field to collect the cancellation fee amount and then deduct that from the total amount of the registration fee to be refunded?

Honestly, I'm unsure. Currently, the system only process full refund. Could you please help posting your request to Features Wish List forum? I want to hear about the feedback from other customers first. If there are many customers need this option, I will try to find a solution
