Members discount without login

Hello,

I have from an association the necessity that there should be a price for members.
They should not log in but only select that they are a member.
Afterwards, a discount which is determined for each event should be deducted.

How can I set this up, do you have a tip for me?

Maybe setup it using custom fee field? Creating a fee field which allow choosing Members/None Members and then charge them different fee base on their selection?
